Moulin Rouge! (2001)
How do I count the ways I love this movie? I have seen this so many time I've lost count. At any given time I can recite any scene from this movie.
Moulin Rouge is a musical about a man named Christian (Ewan McGregor) a penniless poet who falls in love with Satine ( the Moulin Rouge's top courtesan). They have to hide their love because Satine's boss, Harold Zidler (Jim Broadbent) has promised her to a jealous Duke (Richard Roxburgh). This is all set to redone modern day music and flashy bright colors. Definatley director Baz Lurhman's masterpiece.
