There Will Be Blood (2007)
This is the most hypnotic movie of the past decade. Its just amazing to watch Daniel Day Lewis's performance of Daniel Plainview who is an oil man who stumbles upon a huge strike and gets very rich, but loses his humanity in the process. You just keep watching the movie thinking that this man has totally lost his mind, but you can't take your eyes off him.
This movie got Daniel Day Lewis his second much deserved Oscar, not to mention thousands of youtube parodies, a catch phrase "I Drink YOUR MILKSHAKE!" and even a “Speak like Daniel Plainview Day” (April 29).
