A young girl (Baby Doll) is locked away in a mental asylum by her abusive stepfather where she will undergo a lobotomy five days time. Faced with unimaginable odds, she retreats to a fantastical world in her imagination where she and four other female inmates at the asylum plot to escape the facility. The lines between reality and fantasy blur as Baby Doll and her companions fight to retrieve the 5 items they need that will allow them to break free from their captors before it's too late
Steph...This movie was like "Inception" mixed with live action Anime A.K.A. a comic book geeks wet dream. The visuals were great and I really liked the music. Plus its always nice to see girls kicking ass. But honestly, I thought the movie was going to be better than it was. This movie was definitely different from anything I had seen before, and while I like different, I think it was just ok. And on a personal note, if John Hamm is in your movie show him as much as humanly possible, don't waste that handsome man ;) But anyways, if you like comic book/fantasy driven movies, you'll probably like this one. If you don't, wait for it to come out on DVD.
Kris... I didnt have high hopes going into this one so it was just ok. The girls are all sexy and I love that type of costumes. Its worth a rent and you shouldnt be disappointed.
